Power Analysis

Workshop Description:

Learn power analysis from the organization which revolutionized the way we think about power in campaign planning. Gloria Medina, Executive Director of SCOPE, will walk you through the power analysis and power mapping process. The Power Analysis is a visual and interactive tool that is used to map and understand power relationships in the communities where we live or places where we work. The 8-step process facilitates a collective analysis of power dynamics, including who holds power; who is positioned to influence decision-makers; who is most impacted by the decisions, and who is being left out of the decision-making process. By investigating these dynamics through the Power Analysis Tool, organizations/groups can further develop strategies and tactics for winning campaigns and building long-term grassroots power.
